Announcement: Fire Team Zulu 3rd Anniversary Game @ The Gaol - July 12th 2015

To all friends and fans of Fire Team Zulu:

Thanks for helping us with every step of the way to making our team what it is today! 1095 (ish) days down the line and it's time to celebrate the third anniversary of FTZ's founding.

We'd like to invite you all to a special charity game, hosted by The Gaol Events at their site in Rutland on July 12th. This year our efforts will go to support Herts Air Ambulance - so please do read on for details about the game and get signed up to support this amazing emergency service!

The Theme

This year's theme will be Red Vs Blue - Sign up with friends, or pick your favourite colour and make new allies on the day. On the day of the skirmish simply wear a shirt or top with the relevant colour (shade doesn't matter, but don't be daft and pick any weird flip colour that's a bit of both). You're welcome to colour coordinate more than just your top, so go wild, go forth and pew!

We definitely do not want to alienate any players or make anyone spend big bucks to fit the theme. Therefore, while you must book onto either Red or Blue team there is some flexibility for colours.

Red Team 
Main colours for tops - Red, Orange, Yellow

Blue Team
Main colours for tops - Blue, Purple, Black

As usual, please apply common sense here and remember, the day is about fun, not fashion!

Based at the Oakham Enterprise Park in Rutland in the Former HMP Ashwell."

Indoor preparation areas, toilet facilities with running water, plentiful parking and WIFI(!!!). It's on of Zulu's preferred CQB sites and we are pleased to be working with The Gaol Events for our anniversary!

When: July 12th, Gates Open from 08:00, EndEx no later than 16:30
Where: Unit 9, Oakham Enterprise Park, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 7TU (more info here)
Price: £30 walk on (including lunch), hire kit may be available at additional cost - please check when booking
Format: Team v Team, CQB, max 100 players
Load outs - Red or Blue tops (you're welcome to colour coordinate your entire load out as you wish), please make sure you specify which team when making your booking
FPS Info: Maximum muzzle velocity 350 fps for AEGs, 400fps for weapons firing on semi auto only, 500FPS for Bolt Actions
MED info: for 400 & 500 FPS 20m

All bookings be handled via enquiries@thegaolevents.com, please specify whether you are booking onto Red or Blue team.

As we come close to game day, in the interests of balance you may be moved to a colour other than your original selection, though every effort will be made to ensure your first choice is honoured.
